Plant Control and Management System Specification

NOTE :- This document provides an example on some of the available features of the new ASL Windows NT DMS system.

It should be noted that the list of facilities available is not limited to the contents of this document. This is a preliminary document to be used as a basis for further discussions to assist with finalising the plant control system specification for the required project.

ASL‘s in-house expertise in design of computer integrated process control systems allows ASL to tailor the control system to exact customers specifications. The system can be extended to monitor and report on performance / activities of other related Manufacturing cells if required.

The system has an excellent hardware / software design strategy giving resilience and off the shelf availability. Standard proven hardware is provided comprising of a PLC front END together with a PC supervisory computer system.
